Bluewater Bay Men’s Golf Association
Welcome!
The Bluewater Bay Men’s Golf Association promotes interest in golf with a focus on fellowship among its members. We do this through our monthly tournaments, the annual Member-Guest Tournament, social events, participation in Florida State Golf Association events, and trips to other area courses.
Membership is open to all males who are 18 years of age or older, are residents of Bluewater Bay, own property in Bluewater Bay, members of the Bluewater Bay Golf Club or Bluewater Bay Resort Gold Card Members. Membership cost is $50 for the year and you can join the hole in one pool for an additional $5.
We have two social events each year that include free food and drink. The annual cocktail party occurs in November where you can bring your spouse or guest. It is a wonderful event that kicks off the holiday season. The annual membership meeting occurs in March and is where the new board members are elected for the following year.
Our Monthly tournaments occur on the second Saturday of every month and are a mix of team and individual play with varying themes. They are an absolute blast to play in with lunch included and prizes for the top 5 places in each flight. Most tournaments incorporate players’ handicap in order to keep the competition lively giving anyone a chance to win. Handicaps are handled via the GHIN system and must conform to all USGA rules. Our annual Member Guest tournament is the highlight of our year. It’s 3 days of competitive golf for you and a non-member friend. There is plenty of food, drink, and comradery amongst everyone involved. You and your teammate play 9 hole matches against the other teams in your flight and the teams with the highest point totals in each flight go on to the championship playoff. The playoff is one of the most fun and intense competitions, where all of the participants get to watch every shot until there is one team left standing. With plenty of prizes, raffles, and tons of stuff in the goodie bag, everyone walks away with something. It’s one of the most fun times you’ll have all year.
